So, from my cozy living room in Kansas--it is difficult to grasp the full reality of what is happening right now across the world in Japan. I continue to cook dinner on my stove, drive my car, meet friends for lunch, and tuck my children into their warm beds at night. My heart is breaking for everyone suffering there--but there is a tremendous, certain kind of ache for the mothers. Mothers who love their children just as much as you love yours and I love mine, are perhaps searching for their children amongst the rubble, or struggling to feed them or find shelter.
Please pray. Light a candle. Give. Give some more. Hope. Love on your family today more than you did yesterday.
Please consider giving to the Red Cross, World Vision, or other charities that are supporting Japan in this time of unthinkable need.
