i love this image by guymyloo - a subtle reminder to return to the things i love and finish the project(s) in my basket. stat. are you a knitter? please tell us what you are currently working on or hope to! xo
Love this! I'm currently knitting a pair of wool shorties for my little shorty, and remnant afghan. I'm crocheting a pikachu for my daughter's upcoming birthday.
love the photo, nice pastels, but these look like cotton embroidery thread not a knitting yarns. Anyway, I love knitting and also crocheting, don't like to do huge project, I enjoy making little hats, or blankets.
oh Thank you so much !!!! I am very very happy that one of my picture is the potd ! I love your blog, it is so inspiring . So, I am very proud and happy today. Thank you. And now I have no other choice and must concretize my knitting project lol ;) have a nice day.
And Jana , yes it's cotton embroidery thread but I want to knit it with small needles so as to make a little summer top for my two y.o daughter. Maybe it will become something else if it's too hard but i will try ;)
I love the photo! Every time I see a beautiful ball of yarn, I want it!! Right now I'm working on an heirloom baby blanket for a dear friend.. it's crocheted, but that counts too right?! :)
That yarn is beautiful! Not only would I knit with that but I would frame the picture of it! lol I am currently working on a baby cacoon for a friend. her baby shower is this weekend and I know how much those newborn babies love to be swaddled!
Yup, like you & Jen G., I too was an avid knitter before I "found" my camera bug again! There's a gorgeous eggplant mohair sweater waiting to be finished (along with a scarf for my SO, a baby hat and a couple of other projects) just waiting to see the light of day. But I can't seem to come out from behind the camera (or computer screen!!)
I wish I could knit. My mom is al into things like this. She tried to teach me but I just couldn't get the hang of it. :-/
I would like to let you know that you was giving the Stylish Blog Award at my blog. To receive it you may go to http://mommyandwife2011.blogspot.com/2011/03/stylish-blog-award.html .
I was an obsessed knitter, and then photography came along. Maybe it's time I combined my two passions!

I'm a "wanna-be" knitter!!! I bought a book, some yarn and the recommended needles - I discovered that I think I need an instructor...
