.Mommy Monday.

This video is very difficult to watch. If you are one of our more sensitive readers, you may not want to click the slide show below. It is about a single mother's amazing dedication and impossible journey, as she walks alongside her ten year old son as he battles cancer. The images are profound, and some are disturbing.

I still wanted to post it because, this is

one

mother's

story.

  5. I can only hope that one day they find a cure......... I know they are getting closer, with all the thousands of different times it takes time an money, we are at the mercy of the drug companies........ I watched my Mom die of cancer when I was 8, this hits home......

  6. Wow. I have a 4 year old with leukemia, this made me weep. I am also documenting his journey in photos, more so that he will one day know how brave he was. Thank you so much for sharing this, so many people don't shy away from childhood cancer. It needs SO much more awareness.

Man, I was feeling awfully sorry for myself this evening as I sit in my loveless marriage with a husband who's lost interest, but you know what? My three healthy babies are sleeping peacefully and I have no right to complain. I needed that.

That was truly amazing. I often do not even say cancer out loud, its become known as the C word. I think that they are or were extremely brave.

  9. oh wow, that made me cry like a baby. This is exactly what pushes me to be the best photographer I can be. To tell a story even without words. We never know how long we will be here, and I truly believe pictures are priceless. Thank you for sharing this...*sniffle*

  11. Absolutely AMAZING! Do you know if she ever started a charity, and if so, how we could donate to it?
